-
How often does RedGems check Reddit profiles for new posts? It scans each Redditor’s profile at least once a day and downloads new media as soon as it’s available.
-
What happens if a Redditor posts the same media file multiple times?RedGems uses duplicate detection so that, in most cases, a file is only downloaded once (though there might be exceptions).
-
Why are some posts not downloaded?Certain media formats or sources may not be technically supported by Reddit or RedGems. If media consistently fails to download, please reach out to customer support.
-
Why do some new media files download immediately while others take days?Downloads may be delayed when a Redditor posts a very large number of files or if the media (like large videos/GIFs) exceeds typical processing times.
-
Are there limits on how many videos and images can be downloaded?Yes. Individual files must be under 300MB. Moreover, if a Redditor posts hundreds of files at once, it might take a few days for all files to copy to your Google Drive.

-
I accidentally deleted files from a Redditor. Can RedGems download them again?RedGems downloads each media file only once. However, our customer service team can reset your account memory so that currently available media can be re-downloaded. (Note that if the original Redditor has deleted the media, it cannot be recovered.)
